The older I get, the more I think of life as a journey.

Life is an adventure, isn’t it?  If your life is anything like mine, I suspect it’s full of more plot twists than any book in publication.

I also consider our spiritual lives journeys, journeys of faith.   And I’m so grateful to be on this journey with you, those who read these ramblings I post called “Life Meets Theology”.

31_Days_of_Spiritual_Cover_for_KindleIt is in the spirit of walking together on the spiritual journey towards Jesus I took the encouragement of some of my readers and pursued publishing my first book: 31 Days of Spiritual Wisdom: A Month in the Proverbs.

It is often said: knowledge knows a snake is in the grass and wisdom is staying out of the grass. While that creates a good working definition, there is undoubtedly more to applying knowledge than that.

What does the Lord want His children to know? How does He expect them to behave? How do you know if you’re wise? These are answered throughout Scripture, but especially in the Old Testament collection of wisdom found in Proverbs.

Moving through a selection of verses from a chapter of Proverbs for every day of the month, I walk readers through a journey of spiritual formation applicable to everyday life.

The goal?  Knowing how to apply the wisdom of Scripture so we grow in our faith, become wiser, and show the world the life-changing power of Jesus.

I’m so grateful to all who have encouraged me, purchased the print edition, purchased the Kindle edition, and got excited with Patty and I as we moved through the journey.

If after reading it you’d be so kind, please leave a review.  It really helps!
